Information about Natasha
I am a professional musician offering piano and music theory lessons. I teach kids and adults of all ages and abilities. I prepare students for examinations and also teach for students` enjoyment.
I have previously entered students in for theory and practical exams with fantastic results. I am confident in my delivery of the examination syllabus and prepare students thoroughly so they perform confidently with exemplary musical expression.
Aside from examinations, I provide a solid foundation for rhythm, sight reading, scales and exercises and introduce students to a new repertoire that suits their needs.
My classes don`t have to revolve around classical music. If you`re interested in jazz or pop I teach this too.
Whatever your interest and age, I am an experienced teacher and enthusiastic musician and I aim to make my classes engaging, exciting and inspiring for all my students.
Availability: Tuesday-Friday, 10am-3:30pm
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have over seven years` experience teaching classical piano and music theory: three years part-time and four years full time running my own business. My lessons are fun, as I mix up playing pieces/songs, learning music theory and developing rhythmic skills with clapping games and exercises. I teach both children and adults, and tailor the classes to meet individuals` needs.
I have a first class honours degree in classical music as well as grade 8 piano. I studied music in school so have A level (A) and GCSE music (A) too.
I have been playing the piano for twenty seven years and continue to develop my piano skills by practicing daily and listening to a wide range of music.
I also have grade 8 music theory and a master`s degree in music.
