Currently working as an English teacher in a local 11-18 school. I love aiding students in English and maths, which is why I am flexible to help with any level of support. I aim to help students make their desired progress, outside of that sometimes overwhelming class environment. I am amicable in my nature and believe this demeanour aids in my ability to give the support needed but in a less obtrusive way. Tutoring in spelling, grammar or punctuation is also available.

Availability: Evenings: 4:00-7:00pm and Weekends: 9:00am-13:00pm

Experience: I graduated from Plymouth University with a 2:1 in English and have tutored at a school for a year before being employed at a local secondary school as an English Teacher. As an English teacher, I specialize in literature, language and AQA examinations.I aim to instill confidence in students and offer support on the skills they need, in order for them to get their aspired grade. I am very friendly with my tutoring style and enjoy what I do. Tutoring in spelling, grammar or punctuation is also available.

As well as English, I also offer Maths tuition for Primary, KS3 and GCSE. Having an A in GCSE Maths and being familiar with the exam boards, I am aware of the demands for students who want to attain their aspired grade no matter what it is. I believe my one on one approach will resonate with students, where focused time on their individual needs for progression will help support them in a way that is less overwhelming than a classroom environment.
