I am a scientist who loves to teach and to learn too. I have studied many subjects and am still having music lessons and have just started a new degree in psychology. I believe that everyone can learn anything, sometimes we just need a bit longer or someone to explain ideas when we have become confused

Availability: I am very flexible around times, just not available Tuesday or Thursday evening during term time.

Experience: I have 30years of tutoring or lecturing experience; this includes maths and to GCSE and A level, statistics and biological sciences to degree level and aspects of genetics to MSc and PhD. As well as that I have taught clarinet to beginners! I always strive to make learning an enjoyable experience, measuring progress and recognising that we all have our own preferred style of learning and progress at different rates. I currently mark papers for GCSE science.
