Hi! I am a maths graduate from the University of Cambridge, with four A*s at A-level and 12 grade 9s at GCSE. I am passionate about teaching my subject - exams can be stressful, but I believe that with good teaching nobody should have to struggle.

MY LESSON STRUCTURE:
I ask my students what they would like to cover a few days before the lesson - this enables me to tailor the lesson to your needs. My lessons will typically begin with a focus on content, identifying gaps in knowledge and strengthening what has been covered already. I then reinforce this content with practice questions from the relevant exam board.

HOMEWORK:
If desired, I set and mark homework to consolidate what we have been through in lessons. This also enables me to provide you with feedback on how you are doing, tailoring the lessons to what you have struggled on.

Experience: I have over six years of experience in privately tutoring maths and science for 11+, GCSE and A-level, in a wide range of exam boards. I achieved four A*s at A-level, and 12 grade 9s at GCSE. Having worked in mentoring schemes throughout my time at Cambridge and secondary school, I am professionally trained in communicating clearly and effectively.

I am also experienced at helping with Oxbridge admissions - having helped the University of Cambridge admissions team and gone through the process myself. During my time at Cambridge, I have heard many tips and tricks from those who run the application process, and I am keen to pass these on to my students.
