I have a wealth of teaching experience in the primary education sector. I use a range of strategies to enrich pupils’ learning experiences and create a well-ordered, engaging and secure learning environment. I use the Kagan cooperative learning model to engage children in learning actively. I use the ‘Rally Coach’ Kagan structure, particularly in mathematics lessons that requires children to work in pairs and take turns with one solving the problem and the other coaching. Other techniques that I use to engage children include using concept cartoon across the curriculum to encourage discussion and deeper thinking, drama, art, IT-based tasks, research, presentation activities, direct teaching and homework.

Availability: I am available on the weekends from 9am to 2pm.

I am also available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm.

Experience: I have 13 years teaching in the primary school sector. Taught across all key stages in the primary setting, from Early years to upper key stage 2.
