Information about Jill
I am a highly experienced, supportive tutor of GCSE English students. As of 5th January 2021 I will only be available for Skype or Zoom sessions to GCSE students doing English Language and English Literature with the AQA exam board at £29.50 for an hour.
I am a positive, patient and encouraging tutor with a wealth of experience and skills. I am supportive of students but also clear and constructive so that they achieve the very best they are capable of. I am adept at focusing on the individual needs of pupils. I enjoy teaching English but understand that some pupils find it challenging, I am able to focus on the individual needs of pupils so that they progress well.

Experience: I am a very experienced English teacher. I have taught English in a college for over 20 years, this includes GCSE English and A level English. Prior to that, I taught English in a range of schools for a few years across years 11-18 (including GCSE and A level. ) I am currently working freelance, doing 1:1 private tuition to students studying GCSE English.
