Teaching has always been my passion - seeing students doing well and saying that they started loving Maths or Physics thanks to me feels incredible. That`s the main reason that has kept me going for the last 12 years. As many problems related to learning are due to poor explanation provided by the school teacher, my goal is to explain everything as simple as I can and to use a lot of visual aids like plots, drawings, pictures or videos. In addition, I teach my students exam strategies, which are crucial for getting a high score, and provide them with the real life examples of things which they should not be doing. Throughout the time I have spent teaching, I realised that being a great tutor is 80% about passing the knowledge in an approachable way and 20% coaching.

I am keen to help both students who have problems with basic Maths, Physics and Chemistry and keeping up at school and those who want to get even better than they are or go beyond the curriculum. So far all of my students achieved their goals which required hard work both from them as well as from me.

I am extremely proud of all of my students, especially of the one who called me on her birthday over seven years ago and said that she did not know Maths at all and she was supposed to have her finals in 8 months` time. I was her tutor for these 8 months and we worked really hard on improving her skills. The beginning was really tough and we had to start from the very basic things but in the end she scored 81% in her examination! I was and still am extremely proud of her!

I am a PhD student at the University of Warwick. Before that I graduated with a BSc in Aerospace Engineering, which encompassed a very extensive program in Advanced Maths, Mechanics and Physics, and MSc in Advanced Materials which gave me an additional insight into Chemistry.

Availability: Weekday evenings for regular tuition + Saturdays and Sundays.

Experience: I was English teacher in a language school for 4 years. Moreover, I have been a Maths and Physics tutor for 8 years now. I can help anyone to understand Maths and Physics and get good grades at school even if they think they are a `hopeless case` :)
