My name is Laura and I am a proven, consistently outstanding Year 6 teacher. I have worked across the key stages but specialise in guiding my children through their Y6 SATS tests and raising levels in writing.

I believe in employing fun, creating and innovative teaching techniques to create engaging learning environments for all of my children.

I am a specialist leader in education in literacy and curriculum leadership as well as an accredited KS2 moderator, which means I have a deep knowledge and understanding of the level required to achieve the required standard at the end of key stage two.

I can help your child realise their full potential and become confident and enthusiastic learners, building on their existing skills, talents, knowledge and understanding.



I believe in encouraging children to explore and investigate within their learning to encourage analytical thinking which can help develop problem solving skills.

I have a particular passion for writing and within my own school, developed a whole school progressive writing scheme to drive progression and standards across school, with great success.

I have no doubt that I can help your child in their learning; I can provide support and guidance in a particular area of development or I can provide further challenge and guidance to achieving the highest possible standards ; particularly achieving greater depth standards at the end of key stage two.
