Information about Luke

Hi! I`m a passionate tutor with an excellent academic record and the skills to help you succeed. I`d love to tutor you in English up to A level, but I`m also open to tutoring in History and Biology too, up to GCSE.

I`ve got a BA (Hons) from one of the top 10 universities in the world, University College London. At A Level, I studied English, History and Biology, achieving A*A*A. I also have an AS-level A in Chemistry and a B in Maths, which I taught myself on the side.

Availability: I am currently very flexible.

Experience: I have a wide range of experience tutoring students from primary level through GCSEs to A level.

I also have extensive experience informally tutoring friends and other students informally as I`ve progressed through education. For example, in my first year at UCL, I informally tutored a friend who was self-teaching her English A-level. With my help, she progressed from a D grade to a final A grade in the exam. With that grade, she got into the university of her choice.

Luke has been exceptionally good for tutoring my daughter. He has helped improve her A Level English Language grade from an D to an A/B . He is professional in his manner, courteous and understanding. Luke has skill of being able connect and communicate with my daughter in such a way that she is engaged in whichever topic they go through and she has been challenged to think for herself with encouragement, which has changed her approach to her studies. She is a much improved student thanks to you , Luke. Although we no longer need lessons from Luke having completed her A Level we strongly recommend Luke as an English tutor.
