I am a skilled English and Maths teacher who has experience working with children from primary age, right through to adulthood. I offer friendly, relaxed sessions tailored to the needs of the student.
When beginning to tutor a student I focus on assessing the student to find their weaknesses and to discuss with them their goals. Through this information we can then formulate a plan to reach their targets.
Each session then has learning outcomes personalized to the needs of the student.
I believe treating students fairly and offering good support and guidance is key to their success. I always try to boost confidence and morale by giving on-going positive encouragement and praise. As a tutor I find it very rewarding seeing students grow and progress.

Sinead has been inspirational to my son, who had no confidence in fractions but now approaches them with enthusiasm. Sinead is a very good teacher and consistently encourages and enthuses over Tom, which aids his confidence. She is always punctual too.

Thank you for your feedback Qingyun.
As much as I am there to tailor sessions to meet the needs of the student, I cannot teach a child who refuses to do the work set.
Even considering that, I would of continued to offer my tuition to your son, but I believe the main issue was not being able to find a time slot to suit us both.
