I am a skilled English and Maths teacher who has experience working with children from primary age, right through to adulthood. I offer friendly, relaxed sessions tailored to the needs of the student.
When beginning to tutor a student I focus on assessing the student to find their weaknesses and to discuss with them their goals. Through this information we can then formulate a plan to reach their targets.
Each session then has learning outcomes personalized to the needs of the student.
I believe treating students fairly and offering good support and guidance is key to their success. I always try to boost confidence and morale by giving on-going positive encouragement and praise. As a tutor I find it very rewarding seeing students grow and progress.
