Availability: Tuesday to Thursday 16:30 to 19:30 and Saturday 8:30 to 12:30 all times are BST but there is some flexibility with tutees in different time zones.

Experience: Very early career was spent in a research laboratory which provided much valuable practical experience when it comes to teaching practical work.

This was followed by a post-graduate course to train for teaching in the secondary sector and to apply some of the experience gained in the laboratory.

With 12 years successful teaching at Secondary level with a full range of ability and in biology, human biology and science as well as part-time work in the Tertiary sector teaching A level specifications I have much to offer my tutees.

As well as teaching, I can call upon over 20 years experience as an examiner having marked for three main examination boards at various levels from SATs to GCSE and A level and in setting examination questions. This experience has given me an excellent understanding of the examination process so I can provide sound advice.

I am an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Education Assessors (ACIEA) and take an active interest in current trends in assessment.
