Information about Sam
I`m a very enthusiastic mathmatician and physicist who grew up in Brighton and finished studying Physics at The University of Manchester in 2024, graduating with a First class degree. In my final year doing my masters I was investigating new techniques in proton cancer therapy but have also studied lots of different areas of mathematical physics such as statistical dynamics, quantum mechanics and general relativity. I`m friendly and easy to talk to which I think is important when trying to teach any science and I take any suggestions of how you want to structure or prioritize your lessons whether that`s focus on a specific topic or practice exam style questions.
Throughout my education, I developed a passion for Maths and Physics mainly due to the mentorship of teachers that I had through the years. I feel incredibly lucky to have learnt from them as they left a great impression on me and ultimately influenced me into pursuing Physics for my degree.
I completely understand that not everyone has the same passion for Maths as I do. Different people need differerent approaches in order to improve, but regardless I want to help people in the same way my teachers did, with whatever goals they have with this subject.
