I have been teaching for the last 13 years. Prior to this I worked in the finance industry for almost 20 years. I am incredibly passionate about teaching and, in particular, working with young people to help them realise their own individual potential. I teach English and Maths predominantly, but have expertise in History, Food Safety, Safeguarding and Sociology too.
I am a mum to 3 wonderful children, ages ranging from 13 to 23.
In the last 7 years I have run my own training company, which has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of people from the ages of 6 to 60, some with barriers to progression. Within this period I have also taught vocational qualifications such as Hospitality, Business and Administration, Personal and Social Development, Health and Social Care and Management

Availability: Monday to Friday 9am - 9pm

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have a varied experience in terms of age and subject matter and as such can offer a student a very bespoke learning package to ensure success. I had good knowledge of the National Curriculum alongside vocational qualifications. I have extensive experience of working with people with barriers to learning whether that be physical or emotional difficulties, or learning difficulties such as dyslexia.
