Reflecting on my educational experiences, being born in a third world country, education was not easily accessible. The support and care I received from the education system propelled me to achieve my desired goals and ambitions, leading to a profound impact on my life. The deep impression many teachers had on me have shaped my aspirations and for that reason I taught to be a part of a model which encourages success and enhances the quality of young people’s lives.

My pedological approach to teaching and learning is that of a mastery approach. Pupils are exposed to various new mathematical concepts and ideas. Modelling and problem solving skills are then encouraged to strengthen knowledge and understanding.

I aim to empower and equip individuals, so enjoyment, resilience, understanding and attainment in mathematics is possible for all!
