Information about Craig
I am a friendly and experienced maths teacher and an examiner for Edexcel A level. I currently teach GCSE, A level and Further Maths. I have an excellent track record of helping my students perform at their best and will help students develop the confidence and specific skills they need to achieve their potential. My experience of being an examiner helps me in preparing students for their papers, so they are fully prepared for what they need to do to be successful. I can tutor GCSE, A level, Further Maths or STEP and I live in Redhill. I can tutor online or face to face.
Availability: Weekday afternoons and after school

Experience: Teaching GCSE, A level and Further Maths for over 20 years. Experience of successfully tutoring many students at all secondary levels. I have been an A level examiner for Edexcel for 10 years and I am currently teaching in a local secondary school. I also train and mentor trainee teachers.

Craig has been providing further maths A level lessons through ‘Education Other Than at School’ for my son who has an EHCP and a diagnosis of PTSD. His level of adaptability and understanding has enabled my son to finally complete his exams, after 3 years of trying (unsuccessfully) in a mainstream setting. Craig was responsive when I highlighted my son’s increasing anxiety and suggested a no pressure approach. He would adapt accordingly. My son doesn’t trust a lot of people, especially teachers. He really liked Craig, was impressed with his teaching and said his lessons were interesting and motivating.

My son has had Craig help him with Maths A Level for a few weeks & his feedback is the time has been extremely useful. Specifically, helping him know how to start those questions he didn`t understand.
