I am currently working as a supply Teaching Assistant in a special needs school, and would like to offer guitar tuition for students of any age after school, in the evenings or on Saturdays. I play solo guitar on acoustic instruments, and having recently developed a classical guitar set, I am now focussing on the steel string acoustic.
In the past I have played electric guitar in minor local bands with a focus on original material, played bass guitar in a swing/latin functions band, given guitar demonstrations in school assemblies (to support guitar tuition), and sung with amateur and church choirs.

Availability: * Monday to Thursday after school hours.
* Saturdays.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

I taught the guitar for many years as a full time occupation, both privately and as a peripatetic teacher visiting schools. I have taught all guitar instruments and styles, entering students for classical guitar and Rockschool grade exams, have organised school bands and assisted with GCSE performance work.
