Information about Finn
Hi there! My name is Finn, a 1st Class Biological Sciences graduate from Durham University now completing a Masters at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew in Plant and Fungal Taxonomy, Diversity and Conservation. I am incredibly passionate about wildlife and ecology, as well as teaching. Through volunteering, I have honed my tutoring skills as an environmental educator working with a range of audiences across various scientific concepts in practical and engaging ways.
I currently tutor GCSE Maths (Edexcel). My tutoring style is very flexible and tailored to meet the individual needs of each student in helping them achieve their personal goals. By providing 1 on 1 support and helping my students stay motivated, especially during challenging topics, I believe they can make fantastic progress towards achieving their goals. I endeavour to make lessons engaging and practical to make learning as most effective as possible. By working collaboratively with students, they can reach for a firm grasp of the curriculum while working on exam techniques and methods to improve their grades.
Please get in touch if you have any questions! I hope to hear from you soon.
Finn :)
Availability: I offer tutoring on weekdays after school, with varying availability over the weekends. I am flexible with lesson times. Please do drop a message to enquire further.
