Hi everyone my name`s Sophia and I am studying a degree in History. I have always had a passion for History and have chosen to study it at university as it allows me to continue learning about a subject I love whilst also providing me with the skill set needed to pursue a job in Law. Although I am not studying it at university I also have an academic love for English and the sciences and am happy to tutor these also.

As your tutor I can break down subjects and present them to you in ways that are easy to digest and understand, in language that I promise is not overly academic. Having used tutors myself I understand how sometimes those helping us can confuse us more due to them forgetting we are not on the same academic level. Having sat a myriad of exams throughout my life I understand the fear and pressure they put on students and that is why I take it upon myself, as your tutor, to relieve as much of this pressure as possible by making sure you enter your exams feeling confident that you know what is expected of you. Within my tutoring lessons I am happy to go over any essays you are finding hard or go through ones you have written and explore what you can do to improve, look through any key contextual understanding which you do not understand or just talk to you about what areas you are worried about and find a way to increase your confidence.

Experience: I have been a tutor for almost three years and have helped countless students achieve up to 4 grades higher than that which they started with. I have experience with children of all ages and abilities and am willing to put in the time needed to ensure you that our child grows in confidence.
