I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 25 years classroom experience. This includes teaching pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

I completed the TEFL course in 2022 and taught English to adults and children in schools in Thailand.
My tutoring experience includes preparing a year 6 pupil for his SATS tests, and during lockdown I taught 3 SEND pupils online.

I am a highly motivated and dedicated teacher who is positive, patient and kind. I believe in listening to the views of the learner and their carers and working together so the young person can reach their full potential. When planning lessons I consider the needs, abilities and interests of the individual learner and I am always ready adapt lessons. I believe lessons should be engaging, challenging and fun and the learner should feel relaxed and comfortable so they can learn.
