I am a qualified History Teacher with over six years experience of working in Secondary Schools teaching students aged 11 - 18. I love my job, but particularly enjoy working with students in small groups, and believe that through finding out more about students, that I am able to tailor my teaching to best help each student.

I believe that tutoring enables students to excel in their school studies. I offer tuition in GCSE and A Level History, and English up to GCSE level. Tutoring provides support in a way that it is difficult for a classroom teacher to offer when teaching 30 students. I make learning enjoyable and interesting, and find different techniques to helps students to remember important subject knowledge or exam technique.

Through tuition, I believe that students can increase in confidence and ability, and I am happy to offer weekly, fortnightly or one-off lessons to go through exam technique or essay practice. I am also happy to teach group lessons if more than one student wanted support in the same topic.

Availability: Monday - Thursday after 5.pm
