I am an English home tutor working in Loose, Maidstone.

I am passionate about seeing all my students:

- enjoy reading, learning about and discussing great literature
- build confidence in understanding more complex and challenging texts
- grow in their knowledge of literary techniques
- sharpen their own critical thinking and arguments about literary works
- improve their skills in both analysing and responding to texts
- develop creativity and flair in their writing

Where? I offer tutoring either from my home in Loose, or at the student’s home within a 5 mile radius (at an additional cost).

How much? £20 for an introductory one hour session,
then £30 per hour at my home/£30 + mileage at the student’s home

Availability: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I am an English Literature graduate from Cambridge University and a fully qualified and experienced Primary School teacher, with a DBS certificate. I have previously tutored 11+, GCSE and A Level students.
