Hola, I am a native Spanish tutor with a passion for what I do. I hold a BA(Hon)from King`s College, London University in Spanish and Latin-american Literature and History. I am a Qualified Teacher with a PGCE.
I always enjoy the challenge of helping students improve their attainment and grades in Spanish. I find it really exciting to see how my students start to speak Spanish and learn not just the language but also the culture.I am a mother of 3 daughters and I lived in London for 11 years before moving to Datchet(Berks) with my family about 10 years ago.
Availability: Weekends: Saturday morning

Fernanda has been teaching my husband and I Spanish for five months. As beginners, we have really enjoyed her fun and engaging approach and patience with our many questions. The classes are well structured with supporting material and always specific to our particular needs. We are growing increasingly confident when it comes to using the language and look forward to testing our skills in Spain later this year.

Fernanda has been excellent with my daughter who is studying A level Spanish - she has qucikly established her leanring level and set her tasks that are both challenging and accelerate her knowledge. We are delighted with the quality and standard of teaching.

I had a few lessons with Fernanda in preparation for my A Level Spanish exams, and her help greatly improved my confidence and skill in this language, especially for my speaking exam.
She is friendly, patient, encouraging, and helped me get my head around difficult aspects of the grammar in such a simple way I wondered why I had ever even struggled. She offered ideas and insight into the topics, helping me to formulate a plan for answering the questions which could come up.
While Spanish was my worst subject prior to her lessons and I had no direction or idea on how to tackle it, it quickly became my best and I believe my exams went perfectly! I went from an unconfident wreck (my mocks went very badly) to smoothly sailing through my real exams, which I never believed could happen. I only wish I had started with the lessons earlier!
So, I would highly recommend Fernanda to anyone looking for help with their Spanish, and thank you Fernanda :)
