My name is Paula. I am a creative and self-motivated 30 years old Spanish graduate with a passion for theatre, music and people. I am a relayable, resourceful and adaptable individual who enjoys teaching and is currently working in London both as an actor and as a private tutor.

My experience as an actor has given me great tools for language teaching and communication skills:
I was born in Valladolid, Spain. After graduating from RESAD (Royal Spanish School of Acting and Drama) Madrid, in 2007 I collaborated with several theatre companies, in particular "The National Classical Theatre Company” Madrid. Between 2010-2011 I completed an MA in Performing Arts (Theory and Critics) at the Complutense University, Madrid. Last year I won a grant from Fundacion La Caixa, to study an MA in `Classical Acting` at the The Royal School of Speech and Drama, London.

Availability: 8am-10pm Monday to Friday also available on Weekends.

Experience: I have more than 5 years of experience in language teaching and private tutoring. I work with a wide range of students, and my experience has provided me with the capacity to make sure I find the appropriate method for each student, adding an extra level of focus on their specific requirements. My classes include a wide range of language skills and additional language support, from general tutoring, conversation, pronunciation, diction and fluency, to understanding regional accents, classical Goden Age plays and verse. I also provide help with preparation for exams.
