I am 44 years old and have worked in a primary school for the last six years. I am passionate about education and believe it is my role as an educator to enhance every opportunity for a child to learn and reach their full potential.
I have two children who are 18 and 14. My son studies English Literature at Birmingham University. My daughter attends a local secondary school.

Availability: Monday to Friday 5pm - 9pm
Saturday 9am - 5pm
Sunday 9am - 5pm

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I am a Senior Learning Support Assistant and teach Year 4 and Year 6 four days a week and specialist interventions including phonics, reading recovery, Fischer Family Trust, English as an additional language and reading inference skills. I have a vast amount of experience having worked across all key stages. I have taught in Year 2, Year 6 and Year 4. I attend weekly meeting with the senior leadership team to discuss children`s attainment and progress. I will continue to teach SATs booster classes in the spring term of 2018 because of my specialist revision and SATs knowledge.
Last year I was appointed the sports coordinator for the school and liaise with the local borough on a weekly basis regarding all P.E and sporting activities. I run a football and athletics after school club and coach football part-time at a local club.
I have a BA Hons degree in Education and learning and am looking to start my Masters within the next year.
