I am an experienced, patient and creative tutor with eight years of experience teaching one-on-one and in classes. Currently based in South London, I am available to work with students KS2-5 on English and history in person and online.

During the lockdown, I have had extensive experience teaching online and can confidently manage teaching over Zoom and similar platforms, including with students who are not used to online tutoring. I am warm and patient with students of any ability level, and I have built my career around my love of working with people and sharing my passion for the humanities. With students, I build on my professional experience of designing educational programmes to create bespoke lessons. My goal is always to develop the student`s confidence and equip them with creative and critical thinking skills that will serve them well in the exam room and in the rest of their life.

I have particular experience with students who speak English as an additional language, and am a qualified English language teacher who has taught online classes to people looking to improve their English during lockdown.

I am also happy to tutor for university/Oxbridge entrance and do practice interviews in any humanities subject, building on my experience of handling applications and doing outreach work in an Oxford admissions office.

After getting a first class degree in English Language and Literature at Oxford, I worked for a year in Oxford admissions. I then moved to work in the education department of a major London theatre, where I handle all schools outreach work, design educational projects in English and drama and create and edit modules on Shakespeare for young people age 5-18.
