I am a qualified teacher and have been teaching since 2012. I have taught in all Primary year groups, from Nursery to Year 6; having worked both as a full time classroom teacher and as a part time supply teacher, in a number of Surrey independent and state schools. I have been tutoring part-time online since June 2020 (having previously tutored face-to-face, alongside classroom teaching).

I take an entirely tailored approach to tutoring; basing sessions on the individual students` needs from week to week. I aim to use a mixture of approaches to learning; practical, written/theoretical and via talking and questioning. All of my students are making good progress and taking huge strides towards increased confidence.

Availability: I work Mon-Weds, after school (although am currently full) and during the school day (so ideally placed for homeschooled children or those living overseas) on Thursdays and Fridays.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: Alongside classroom/school teaching I have experience with 1-2-1 tutoring in English and Maths, 11+ entrance exams and for LAMDA exams (1-2-1 and in small groups). My students make excellent progress, grow in confidence and the majority of those who have already taken LAMDA exams achieved Distinctions.
