Jackie

I am a passionate, professional teacher of English Language and Literature to all levels, with over 30 years of experience in a wide range of academic settings.

Alongside my subject specialism, I have been a Head of Department focusing on enabling students to achieve their full potential in terms of decision making, personal skills and future career aspirations.

I particularly enjoy teaching and motivating on a one-to-one basis as this allows me to share my enthusiasm for the subject, which I find rewarding and stimulating for the student and myself.

Availability: Some weekdays from 3pm.

Experience: I have taught English Language and Literature to a range of age groups and abilities from Year 6 entrance exam preparation and basic skills through to A Level and preparation for University.

This has included one-to-one support, motivational tutorials and curriculum delivery to adult learners.
