Hello, I`m Max from London. I`ve taught English Literature and Language for the last 3 years now and I`m also a published writer.

I like to encourage students to first enjoy what they’re doing through story writing. By patiently engaging them on a personal level, I feel this better prepares them for study, exams, University entry and beyond; adding an element of fun and making each obstacle less daunting.

I work with all different ages (Primary – A-Level) and also run Playwriting clubs for young people.

Availability: I am available every day of the week except for Sundays to tutor.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: As a playwright I`ve had plays produced with the Arcola Theatre, the King’s Head Theatre, Theatre 503 and I`ve studied with the National Theatre (Playwriting Development Programme). I`ve also collaborated with the Wooster Group in New York, the British Museum and the English Theatre Berlin as a dramaturg.

I have a Bachelors Degree from Central Saint Martins and currently studying for my Masters at Goldsmiths University (MA in Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance).
