Hello, I am Sarah, a friendly tutor, specialising in Maths, at a primary and secondary level (GCSE included).

I have an Upper Second Class (2:1) BSc Math degree with Honours from Manchester Metropolitan University. I also achieved level 8 in my GCSE Mathematics.

Education qualifications aside, I am a very organised, patient, and passionate when it comes to mathematics. I am also very good at adapting to the student`s needs.

Experience: I have been tutoring since 2023, and over time I have uncovered a multitude of ways to provide resources and lesson plans that are detailed and yet easy to read.

I evaluate how far the students are in their learning at school and potential skills they will need later on, depending where in the school year and their curriculum they are. I have also made a Google Form so that if students complete any papers, they can keep a record of where they found it and they can self-assess themselves to compare how exam boards mark them later.

I also have a "Canva" profile so that I can send resources on a online whiteboard format.

The first session is free, so that the student and I can get acquainted and we can discuss how to provide a lesson plan based on their needs, whether it is exam practise, subject knowledge, technique etc .
