I am a friendly and patient tutor who loves learning and helping others to build confidence. I always adapt my lessons to the needs of the student. As well as tutoring, I currently work voluntarily in a large primary school in year 6 and I hold a DBS certificate. I have 9 year’s experience and really enjoy working with children one to one to improve their knowledge and confidence.

I love reading and supporting children`s literacy but I am also experienced in numeracy and preparing for the 11 plus exam. I am familiar with the school curriculum in KS2, KS3 and GCSE mathematics.

I am married with 2 children. I am a graduate of Leicester University and have strong literacy and numeracy skills.

Experience: I am in my 10th year of supporting children at various levels at a local primary school, mostly KS2. I am experienced in supporting literacy and numeracy, as well as preparation for year 6 SATS and the 11 plus exam. I have also supported KS3 and GCSE mathematics, English and French.

I often work with children who lack confidence or have anxiety issues. I have a keen interest in children`s mental health. My background is in complementary medicine/counselling, so I have over 16 years experience of working with children and supporting people, improving confidence and encouraging growth.
