Hi :)

I`m Shannon and I`ve just finished my finals in 4th year of Medicine at the university of Liverpool. This year I am doing a BSc in Emergency medicine.

I`m hard working, enthusiastic and patient with my students. I aim to make my sessions as interactive and engaging as possible, providing you with all the resources (powerpoints, diagrams and questions etc) used in our sessions as revision tools nearer exams. I recognise that everyone has different learning styles and I can tailor all lessons to your needs to ensure you reach your maximum potential.

Nearer exams, I can cover past paper questions and go through the answers using the mark scheme to see where marks can be picked up, however, I always add a couple questions at the end of a lesson to check comprehension and gauge where extra help may be needed.

I`ve benefited from 4 years of teaching by world leading experts in Medicine and I got top 10% in my most recent exams. I can help with all aspects of Medicine including anatomy, physiology and clinical medicine.

I am happy to help with applications to Medicine and dentistry- from proof reading personal statements all the way to UKCAT and interview preparation. I got 4/4 invitations to interview and 3 offers from those.
I also tutor KS3/GCSE/A level biology.

Availability: I am available during evenings, weekends and holidays. I am flexible on some week days too.

Experience: I am a private tutor with experience in biology GCSE and A level so I am very familiar with the curriculum. In the past I have tutored in Maths, Chemistry and German GCSE too.

I have taught Medicine to younger years in university and I have 6 years experience teaching Austrian children (aged 8-14) English in a summer programme.
