A-Level maths tuition expert! Helped 150+ students improve their grades and understanding over the past 10 years! Thoughtful and kind First class Master of Mathematics graduate turned full time tutor.
After helping a couple of students whilst studying for my Masters, I discovered my passion for teaching, culminating in a wonderful role as associate tutor at the University of East Anglia before turning to online tuition full time. Helping people across the world, ranging from GCSE to Degree, but with A-Level being my main area of expertise.
With these years of experience, I am able to find the best strategy for success no matter what situation a student may be in, from helping acheive passes all the way to A*`s, every person is different and requires a personal approach.
A happy, kind and understanding person - I want every one of my students to feel comfortable in talking to me about any challenge they may face. Maths can seem very daunting at times, but with a little bit of guidance the right way, this definitely does not need to be the case.
On top of the tuition sessions, I also provide 24/7 email support to all of my students - providing a little helping hand wherever I can.
Availability: Extremely flexible, happy to work around your schedule as best as I can.

Experience: Over 10 years of tutoring mainly A-level, from a varying degree of skill levels, with extremely good results. I also spent a year working as an associate tutor at the University of East Anglia, working 1-to-1 with students on foundation, year 1 and year 2 math modules.

Jake has been a great tutor for my son’s A Level maths and given him back his confidence in tackling complex questions. His lessons are flexible so my son can request topics he wants to go through and then goes through explaining it in a logical manner. We would recommended Jake.
