Hi, I’m Jake! A passionate A level maths tutor and communicator with a decade of experience. I’ve helped over 250 students of all abilities build confidence and achieve their goals, whether that’s aiming for top university placements or seeking extra support with fundamental concepts.

I hold a First Class (Hons) Master of Mathematics degree from the University of East Anglia, where I later worked as an Associate Tutor, teaching A-Level content to foundation year students. In 2020, I turned tutoring into my full-time profession and began specialising in online maths tuition. Since then, I’ve delivered over 4000 hours of tuition, providing flexible, high-quality lessons tailored to each student’s needs - helping them prepare for A-Levels, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of maths in a way that’s clear, intuitive, and approachable.

Over the years, I’ve continuously adapted my teaching style, drawing from the experience of helping many students with different needs and learning styles. I’m always learning and evolving, using each lesson as an opportunity for growth for both my students and myself.

While my teaching techniques have evolved, my core principles have remained the same. I focus on building strong connections with my students and fostering a supportive environment where they feel confident. Every lesson is a safe space, where students are encouraged to ask any questions—no matter how small or complex.

I recognize that every student is unique, and I tailor my teaching to suit each individual’s goals. Whether you’re working towards passing your exams or aiming for an A*, I’ll create a strategy that fits your needs. Maths doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. I’m here to make it accessible, engaging, and even enjoyable.

Availability: Due to high demand, my availability is currently limited to the hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, all after-school and evening slots are fully booked at this time. I remain committed to providing high-quality support within these hours and welcome any inquiries for sessions during this timeframe.
