As a teacher and a tutor, I have been described during lesson observations and through parents’ feedback as having a calm demeanour and positive attitude. I do strongly believe in being positive to raise children’s self-esteem and so make learning an enjoyable experience. It is a privilege to see the children I tutor gain in confidence and knowledge through my tailored help and support.

Availability: Week day evenings and some weekend availability

Experience: I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with over six years experience teaching in Manchester schools, working with all year groups from reception to year six. For the past two years I have also worked as a private tutor which I now do full time, relishing the opportunity to work one to one with individual children, tailoring the teaching to that child’s learning style and so ensuring the child makes the best possible progress to succeed in school. My years in teaching mean I am very aware of the progression and attainment expected at all ages within the primary school setting, and whilst I am now a full-time tutor, I keep up to date with all aspects of the national curriculum.
