I am a qualified primary school teacher with extensive experience of teaching Key 1 and 2 children. I am married with a son of my own. I have lived in Portishead for 14 years I have recently left primary school teaching to start a reading/tutoring business. I am friendly and easily approachable, with a wicked sense of humour!
I offer home based, private reading, phonics, spelling and writing tuiton for children from ages 4 to 11 years old. This focuses on Key Stages 1 and 2. I have a love and expertise in teaching the above and can offer one to one support for a child who is just beginning, through to a child who may need extending with higher order reading skills. I am CRB ( DBS ) checked with a clean record.
