I am a friendly, patient, experienced and qualified teacher offering one-to-one private GCSE maths tuition in pupils` homes. I have a proven formula for teaching the subject and have achieved a 100% pass rate over the last 3 years.

I am also able to offer Year 6 SATs tuition, KS3 catch up lessons and Year 10 & 11 GCSE tuition.

Lesson Formats
Being sure of the basics – once a term we will go through basic adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, fractions, percentages, shapes etc.
Difficult topics – going over anything student finds difficult or problems that have not been understood in school. We will use the CGP Maths book and/or whiteboard and exercise books to explain and ensure understanding.
Exam Papers – We will go over past papers and work in-depth on exam technique.

Monday - 4pm - 5pm, 8pm - 9pm
Wednesday - 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Thursday - 4pm - 5pm & 5.20pm - 6.20pm

Experience: I have more than 25 years experience in the education sector:

2 years registered childminder
4 years teaching assistant at Primary level (while studying for degree) teaching small groups English and Maths
4 years History and Special Needs teacher (working with disaffected pupils) at Secondary level teaching History to A level, Maths to GCSE, English and other subjects to KS3 level.
20 years authoring a range of educational websites and creating educational teaching materials
10 years private tutoring at all levels
