I am an experienced, empathetic and energetic maths tutor originally from Hong Kong but now based in London. I have 5 years of experience teaching over a hundred students and over 4000 teaching hours between the ages of 10 to 16, and a proven track record with secondary school entrance exams (year 6), Key Stage 3 learning (year 7 to 9) and GCSEs (year 10 to 11). I am able to teach either in person or online via Zoom using a free online whiteboard that provides visual and written interaction. I am currently based in West London and happy to travel.

Experience: My specialty lies in working with lower level students who have fallen behind in their studies and struggle with a fixed mindset, low motivation and the notion that maths isn’t for them.

I have an easygoing, lighthearted disposition that allows me to communicate effectively with children. I build trust and rapport with students, ensuring they are comfortable to ask questions and willing to challenge themselves and take risks. This creates a more positive learning environment which facilitates success.
