Information about Simon
I am a Mathematics Lecturer at The University of Liverpool. I lecture on a variety of topics including probability and statistics, mathematics for engineers and physicists, advanced algebra and programming. Before moving to Liverpool in 2018, I was a Mathematics Lecturer in Swansea South Wales, Dundee in Scotland and Durham England.
I have 18 years of experience in tutoring and supported many students from GCSE to degree level to adult learners. I worked as a High School teacher in China from 2013 to 2015 and taught more than 300 Chinese students in this period. In 2017 I become a fellow of the Higher Education Academy after completing my PGC in Higher Education.
Availability: Evenings 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

I approached Simon with only 3 weeks left until my exam with pretty much no knowledge on the subject. I had previously failed the exam with a poor 8%, however I`m glad I approached Simon as he dedicated a lot of his time in the 3 weeks to make up notes and classes for me. Having only had 5 classes I managed to pass an exam that was harder than the first one with 52%. Without Simons help I wouldn`t have stood a chance. It is well worth the money I spent as it was the last unit I needed to complete my degree. Simon was very understanding and took his time to take me back to basic principles and managed to develop my knowledge enough in order for me to go into the exam more confident.
