I can tutor Maths and Physics to GSCE and A level and Chemistry to GCSE.. I have a Physics degree (2:1 from Imperial College, London) and A-Levels in all of the three subjects.

I have a regular timetable of GCSE and A-level students in Maths, Physics and Chemistry but still have some time available for more students.

I have always taken pride in imparting knowledge to others and I believe I have a temperament that is conducive to doing this.

I have used mathematical models for many of the last twenty years while working in the Finance team at a number of City-based firms. Much of my work was to produce p&l reports for the derivatives trading desks and this involved using complex pricing models to value many of the positions. These models required a good understanding of the principles behind them and also of the parameters that were input.

Being a qualified accountant I can also tutor A-level Accounting and Business Studies. Additionally I have a professional qualification in German (LCCI German for Business Level 4) so am able to tutor GSCE German.

Availability: Able to start immediately.
Currently available most mornings, Friday and Sunday afternoons.

Experience: I am an experienced tutor with several hundred hours of tutoring experience across several age ranges and subjects. I gain work through several agencies and also have a list of personal clients that have been referred to me from other clients.

Experience

Year 4 – Year 6 and 11+ - I have experience of tutoring
Year 6/11+ students preparing them for 11+ exams and SATS exams in Islington and Camden boroughs. I have been successfully tutoring some Year 4 students in Literacy and Numeracy in Clapham via the Pupil Premium scheme.
Year 8/13+ - I have successfully tutored several students Maths and Science while preparing for 13+ exams for schools such as King’s College and Hampton.
Year 10/11 – I have tutored Yr 10/11 students in Maths, Physics and Chemistry with much success. I have prepared them for end of year/GCSE/IGCSE exams and I have managed to improve people’s grades and have them moved up at least one set. I have helped C/D grade students to achieve B-grades and helped A/B grade students get A.A grades.
A-level – I have tutored several students in A-level Physics across at least 3 different boards (OCR, Edexcel and AQA). I can also tutor A-level Maths subjects C1-C4 and M1-M2.
