Information about Lorenzo

I am in my final year of PhD in Mathematics, doing research in the field of theories of gravity.
I studied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics for 10 years with rewarding results. My three previous degree`s, all obtained with Distinction, are from the University of Perugia in Italy (Bachelor`s and first master`s) and from the University of Cambridge (second master`s).

I have a solid background in all topics of high school Mathematics and Physics (e.g. trigonometry, derivatives, integrals, trigonometry, parametric equations, mechanics, thermodynamics, optics), and several topics of undergraduate Mathematics and Physics (e.g. linear algebra, calculus, classical mechanics, special relativity).

I consider myself a very friendly and sociable person and I have always found that helping motivated students to achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding experiences. This reflects also in my passion for teaching basketball to young kids.

Availability: I am very flexible. I am currently unavailable only on Tuesday afternoons.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have taught all topics of GCSE, A-levels and undergraduate Mathematics and Physics (e.g. trigonometry, derivatives, integrals, trigonometry, parametric equations, mechanics, thermodynamics, optics), and several topics of undergraduate Mathematics and Physics (e.g. linear algebra, calculus, classical mechanics, special relativity).

After my lessons, students were able to quickly catch up with the course material and obtain excellent grades in their examinations. I also helped a group of talented high school pupils to prepare for the National Olympiads of Physics, and gave 1 lecture to a high school class in Physics and Mathematics.
