I have over 20 years experience as a teacher of English, French, German, Spanish, History and Business Studies. I have been head of department and Assistant Headteacher for 17 of those years and have been a senior examiner for that same period across my specialist subject areas. I am currently Principal of an online school and tutoring hub, specialising in bridging the gap for those working towards grade 4 at G.C.S.E., as well as guiding students striving to successfully achieve the top grades. My knowledge as a senior examiner allows me to personalise every learning journey according to learning style and educational need(s). In simple terms, I identify the strengths, weaknesses and current working grade of the student, before establishing a bespoke learning journey that is focused not only on the content of the exam papers, but also on how to structure exam responses and develop exam technique through tasks and tutorials designed to mimic the structure, timings and pressures of the actual exams.
