With a first class degree in electronics, I have worked in electronics for many years and this involves a good deal of maths and physics. I have also mentored my own three children through their studies from primary through to A level (all three now with degrees).
I believe students benefit from a proper understanding of the basic underlying principles involved, particularly in maths, so that a natural ability and confidence develop.
I`m patient, calm, focused and professional.

From January 2017 until November 2019 I was a lecturer full-time in electronics at a local engineering college, which I found to be a very worthwhile change of career. I now have a Diploma in Education and Training.

Since December 2019 I am Senior Technical Manager in an electronics company, responsible for new product design/development.

Previously I was a Chartered Electrical Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, but have recently left.

Availability: Mainly weekends

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: Studied for a degree in electronics including maths and general science. Have worked in industry for many years in various roles including management and engineering.
