I bring over 32 years of experience as a Science educator, with a proven record of success in teaching Biology to A-level and all three sciences to GCSE and Key Stage 3. My career has combined mainstream and SEND teaching, giving me a unique ability to adapt learning to the needs of each individual. For the past eight years I have specialised in supporting students with Special Educational Needs, delivering personalised, structured programmes that build confidence, resilience, and measurable academic progress.
Tutoring allows me to draw on this breadth of experience to provide highly focused, one-to-one support. I pride myself on creating engaging, interactive lessons that are carefully tailored to each learner’s goals, whether consolidating foundational knowledge, preparing for examinations, or extending subject mastery. My strong track record of exam results—100% 9-4 at GCSE Biology, with over 65% at 9-8, and 84% A.B at A-level—demonstrates my ability to help students achieve outstanding outcomes.
