I have worked in education for over 30 years, both in the UK and in France. I have a BA Hons in French from Southampton University and a PGCE. Having taught French in secondary schools in England, I then taught English in France for over 20 years in further and higher education as well as in businesses. I always assess individual needs and abilities prior to beginning any language course, planning with the student the methods and content that will achieve their purpose. Wherever possible, I encourage natural language exchange throughout the lesson, and make every effort to help the student to experience the real pleasure of learning to communicate in the foreign language.

My daughter met Sara and she was very pleasant and immediately put my daughter at ease. She had ideas to help my daughter and spoke french with her and identified areas that required improvement and explaination. This will aid my daughters progression with the language. A lovely lady and very amicable.
