I am a primary school teacher with 8 years experience specialising in Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6). I am the Assistant Headteacher of an outstanding primary school in Wandsworth and have a great deal of experience working with children to achieve specific goals. I am patient, fun and passionate about working with children of all ages and abilities. I have a calm and caring nature that allows me to develop excellent relationships with children. I have enjoyed my past experiences as a tutor and love the challenges and success that comes with teaching.

My aim is to make learning a fun and positive experience. I do this by having clear and specific objectives that are challenging yet achievable. I use a range of strategies that support the child in reaching their full potential and believe in positive praise to help inspire children to achieve their goals.

Availability: Thursday evening and weekends

Experience: I have been working as a primary school teacher for 8 years and have vast experience in Years 4 and 5 especially. I am currently working as the Assistant Headteacher of a primary school and have been in this role for 18 months. As well as teaching, I have experience tutoring 1:1 in both English and Maths and have tutored one to one through a government backed scheme. Prior to training as a primary school teacher, I studied Spanish and Education at University so I have plenty of experience in education. During my degree, I completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification and tutored English during my time living in Spain.
