Information about Kyriacos

Hi there ! I’m an Oxford student studying Biomedical Sciences at Trinity College. I achieved 13A*s at GCSE and 6A.As at A-level and would love to be able to teach others in Science and Maths.

From my own experience, I found the transition from GCSEs to A-levels particularly difficult and had achieved Us and Es consistently in most of my subjects. Only a few weeks before my exams, I had been rejected by many tutors or was encouraged to only aim for a pass. Nevertheless, I stayed true to my aspirations and held onto my ambition, knuckled down to put in the work and ended up achieving full UMS in some of my modules. I want every single student to realise that it is never too late to make a change and I have every faith, with dedication and belief, that anyone can achieve the grades they want and deserve.

I offer bespoke teaching to all my students and aim to make the lessons as interactive and personalised as possible. I will make a plan to map out all the content that needs to be covered in preparation for the exams and at the beginning of each lesson, I will provide some questions that test the previous content covered to ensure that this has been properly understood before moving onto the next topic.

I wish whoever is reading this the best of luck for your future exams!

Experience: I began tutoring my younger brother in the lead up to his GCSE exams as he was particularly struggling with Science and Maths. With regular lessons and a strong work ethic on his part, he went up two sets in Maths to sit the higher paper and achieved a 998 in the Sciences.
