Daniel

My name is Daniel, I`m 28 and I`m keen to get into teaching. Since graduating, I have spent time working in hospitality and in schools; I enjoy engaging with individuals of all ages from all kinds of different backgrounds. I studied chemistry at Nottingham University, gaining a Masters in 2014. I have previously worked as the resident chemistry "techy" at a secondary school and 6th form college, where I found helping chemistry students with their investigation coursework very rewarding. I have always been passionate about sharing knowledge and understanding and I want to pursue tutoring as a means of beginning a career in education. More recently (February 2019), I gained a CELTA qualification in teaching English as a foreign language, and spent half a year teaching science at a primary school in Thailand. I have a broad subject knowledge in Science, but am specifically read in Chemistry. I`m naturally friendly, kind, and polite. I like engaging with people and I enjoy the challenge of communicating ideas and eliciting understanding. I`m very excited to begin tutoring, and I look forward to hearing from you! Daniel
