I am a Theology graduate from Edinburgh (high 2:1) with 2 years experience teaching English and RS from year 6 to 12 at a top independent school in Surrey.

In terms of my education, I achieved the top grade in Common Entrance to Charterhouse, 10 A*s at GCSE, and an A* and 2 As at A Level in Theology, History and English respectively.

I am confident tutoring English and RS from 11+ right through to A Level, and History up to GCSE. I am also willing to provide a tailored essay writing clinic in order to help your child develop their ability to structure sustained arguments across the board. I was offered a place at Cambridge, and have worked with students in terms of Oxbridge interview preparation, and this is another service I can provide.

My teaching style is focused on challenge and reward. I strongly believe that learning must be fun for it to be engaging, and that part of the enjoyment of education comes from the feeling of success in overcoming a challenge. Before I begin any tutoring job, I will require a bit of information in terms of your child`s background with the subject, the exam boards they are taking, and an example of a standard essay by them, so I am able to provide as tailored an experience as I possibly can.
