I`m Tash, a biologist from East London with an interest in Environmental Science and Conservation. I studied Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A level, achieving an A* and two As, before going onto read Biology at Oxford. I graduated in 2019 with a 2:1. I am currently studying Conservation Science and Policy at the University of Exeter in Penryn, Cornwall.
I am friendly and approachable and want to make my lessons accessible to everyone. I aim to make my lessons enjoyable and interesting and want to let the student take the lead with what they choose to study. In the past I have found this very beneficial.
I try to structure my lessons through discussion, focussing on a small number of exam questions, particularly those that the student may have found difficult during practise. Students should feel comfortable to ask questions and work through solutions step-by-step, if needed.

Experience: I have both been tutored and I have been a tutor myself in the past and so understand the value in one-on-one and small group learning.
I am able to teach KS3 to degree level Biology, as well as KS3/GCSE Chemistry. I am also more than happy to help with Oxbridge and other university applications and can assist with students` Personal Statements and/or interview preparation.
