I have a PhD in Nuclear Physics. Due to having been involved in physics research for so long, it is safe to assume that I am incredibly passionate about the subject. I always get excited when given the opportunity to explain what I know so that others might share my enthusiasm.

I have not forgotten how difficult it was to learn physics and maths the first time around and so I always take the time to explain why the solution to a problem is what it is, as well as explaining how to find the answer.

I am currently employed as a part time tutor, and so have been trained in techniques intended to help enhance the learning of children

Availability: In general, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, but these might change from week to week.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I am currently employed as a part time tutor for Explore learning, which specialises in English and Maths tutoring.

I have demonstrated various modules for physics undergraduates at university. I have also helped out in outreach programs organised by the university in which I interacted with young children and interested adults who wanted some basic physics concepts explained.
